In the context of new era development, the shaping of middle school students' ideological and moral character is of great significance, playing a critical role in their physical and mental health, value formation, and future development. However, changes in the social environment, educational philosophy, and information technology have brought many challenges to the ideological and moral character shaping of middle school students, such as the impact of diversified social values, the negative influence of online information, the lack of family education, and inadequate school education.This article thoroughly analyzes these challenges and puts forward targeted countermeasures such as strengthening the education of socialist core values, enhancing network literacy education, optimizing family education, and improving school education to promote the healthy development of middle school students' ideological and moral character.

The Digital Media Art Design major plays an important role in cultivating students' digital skills and innovative thinking. This article aims to explore the exploration and practice of digital teaching in this major, analyze the challenges and opportunities of existing teaching models, propose teaching strategies and methods that meet the needs of the digital age, and cultivate students' practical and innovative abilities through practical teaching, project driven, virtual simulation and other methods, providing feasible solutions for the development of the Digital Media Art Design major.

The research method adopts a combination of literature analysis and field research, collecting and analyzing relevant music materials to explore the core elements of music in the Hexi Corridor. The research results indicate that the musical elements of the Hexi Corridor have been innovatively applied in modern music creation, such as integrating electronic music, modern stage art, etc., enriching the expression forms of contemporary music. This article argues that the innovative application of traditional music elements in the Hexi Corridor not only broadens the expressive power of traditional music, but also provides new inspiration and materials for modern music creation. Research is of great significance in promoting the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture, and promoting the development of cultural diversity.

In the digital age, data privacy protection is facing legal challenges and countermeasures. Traditional privacy protection laws have limitations and cannot fully adapt to the era of big data. The illegal collection and utilization of personal information, the failure to meet ethical standards for privacy protection under new technologies, and the lagging legislative practice of personal information protection are all issues that need to be addressed. From an international perspective, the experience of the EU's "data protection" system is worth learning from, while personal information protection involves basic human rights and should be ensured by legislation. In the future, it is necessary to design a path that balances information freedom and privacy protection, explore technology and incentive paths, industry self-discipline and rights building paths, in order to ensure effective protection of data privacy.
